After a prelim friendly against the War on tour squad, The Suffra's come a way with a closely contested 2-1 win. All down to a great play at the end. The War on Tour crew were on the back foot from the off as one player was out of the game on the first block, showing true War heart they came back and got a fast touchdown to even out at 1-1 halftime. As always the Suffa's defense was emaculate, fighting for every square on the board. They finally broke down the War boys and managed a great hand off pass combo run to free a wiating linegirl to run free for the touchdown. Great fun great game... Cheers simon! Magic is real dude!

The victorious Wood Elf Champions wood like to thank all the other teams in the league for trying and, ultimately, failing to beat them. Roll on Season 2...

First Half, GS made a slow drive down the side line gradually slugging their way through the wall of beastmen before finally scoring in the final minutes of the half in true GS style.

Second Half, TT opened with a speedy drive straight down the center of the pitch. GS brought half of their players round in an L shaped maneuver closing the available space to TT. However, it was not enough to stop the TT beasmen charging through the line for a turn 4 TD.

Final Drive, GS loaded one side of their line with their hard hitting black orcs and the other side of the line with speedy blitzers leaving TT with difficult decisions as to how they would defend. In the end GS used the blitzers to rush teh ball down the wing with Lupin Toecutter receiving a quick pass and placing the ball accross the line amongst three beastmen.

An exciting match from both teams with GS being the final victors and earning their promotion to the 1st division.

News just in..... In a last ditch attempt to avoid the wooden spoon, the Immortals Board of Directors have sacraficed the recently appointed snotling offensive coach to the gods of sport. In a pre-match interview at the Dragons Head Inn, Star Blitzer Hector of the Immortals was full of confidence saying "someone is going to be killed tomorrow, and your looking at the murderer!" Its going to be an action packed last day of the season.
